Legend of Zelda

The Legend of Zelda

For a period of time, I sold consumer audio and video equipment. The store I worked at acquired the Nintendo game system to sell. Since it was new at the time, the store put one out on display where customers could try it out. Needless to say, the employees also tried it when time permitted. I wasn't planning on buying one myself until they opened The Legend of Zelda game to use as a demonstrator. The game hooked me. A single player game, you take on the character of a kid named Link in his quest to rescue Princess Zelda from the evil clutches of Ganondorf. By today's standards, this decades old 8-bit game would not look very impressive. However, this original Zelda game is still a challenge to play because it mixes exploring a fairly large map, fighting many creatures using your sword or the variety of weapons you acquire along the way, and solve many puzzles on your journey. Even though the original Nintendo system is long out of production, you can still find The Legend of Zelda by purchasing and downloading it for your Wii console. Even if you are extremely good with newer video games, this golden oldie will still keep you entertained for hours and hours of fun and adventure.
